Here’s our short answer:
2-3 classes per week.
Here’s our Medium Answer:
We recommend a minimum of 3 moderate intensity classes per week or 2 high intensity classes per week to meet evidence-based wellness recommendations. Of course, take into account any exercise you’re doing outside of the studio. Walking, running, chasing kids, etc.
Here’s our longer answer:
If you’d rather be on a reformer right now, our three times per week Gold plan is the one for you! Coming three times a week means you’ll get stronger faster and build the mind-body connections that you need to progress to more intermediate and advanced exercises quickly. If you tend to get bored and novelty keeps you going, we highly recommend coming more frequently so that you can learn all that Pilates offers.
Our twice per week Rose plans are great plans to help with mobility, overall strength, and deepening your mind-body connection. If this is your main form of movement, twice a week is the minimum we’d like to see you in the studio.
Once per week Sage plans are great for weekend warriors, busy folks on a budget, or if you’re looking to add some active recovery to your athletic routine. We do recommend incorporating other forms of exercise into your weekly routine if you’re only seeing us once a week.

Pilates isn’t a fashion show Pilates for the People, and you don’t have to dress a certain way to “fit in.” Come in clothes that are comfortable for you that allow you to move. Sometimes we’re upside down or on our hands and knees, so we recommend wearing closer fitting bottoms (as a community, we’re close, but not that close!). Also, if you’d like to strut your fashionista self on your mat like it’s a runway, knock yourself out. We’re here for that too.
Please be sure to bring grippy socks. We do require these be worn in all of our classes for hygiene and to protect the equipment. We have some super cute, high-quality options for purchase at the front desk, and you’re also welcome to bring your own.
